Although they had the upper hand in the contest IPL, the finals spoiled the overall atmosphere of the league. No one would want a more one-sided event.

The Sunrisers opted to bat with a pitcher described as an absolute belter, scoring just 113 in the innings. The firepower of the duo of Head and Abhishek fizzled out into docile embers. Runs withered and wickets fell like packs of cards. The Knight Riders were overflowing with the Sunrisers, leaving the cricket-loving public feeling unsatisfied.

As expected, the Knight Riders rose to the occasion and won in classic style. It would be fitting for the more stable side to win. But they too would have wanted more of a fight with their opponents. The goal of 114 was too easy. And the men in purple have just made their way to the IPL title, which they won in style. It was the third time for the franchise and came 10 years after winning in 2014.

Credit to captain Shreyas Iyer and his talented squad. Some are established and very talented, while others are young and emerging. Shine with IPL canvas. The captain praised the merry band of night riders.

“I’m very happy and the performance was perfect throughout. I’m at a loss for words right now. We had a great performance from the first game. [out] All we asked of ourselves was to support each other no matter the situation. ”

A little over two months and 74 games later, one team has won. They stayed true to their motto. Corbo lorbo jitobo (challenge, fight, win). You’ll probably be waiting until another Indian summer to devour all the talent featured on the show. That’s the beauty of the Indian Premier League, it gives you a chance to make your dreams come true.

Salute to the great game of cricket and the talented souls who make it all come alive.
